Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Process/Project Engineer to be responsible for equipment specification, installation, C&Q and start-up support. The successful candidate will be able to work efficiently within a project team or as an individual contributor.


  • Develop URSs
  • Generate and mainatain detailed equipment lists
  • Contact equipment vendors for quotes
  • Develop P&IDs, PFDs and facility layouts (CAD ability is helpful but not required)
  • Inspect received equipment to ensure acceptability
  • Support MEP and other engineers to ensure facility and utilities for new equipment or processes are designed appropriately
  • Support construction/installation activities
  • Support commissioning and qualification activities
  • Support start-up activities
  • Support risk assessments and PHAs
  • Generate documentation and operating instructions as requested


  • 3 to 10 years of biotechnology or pharmaceutical GMP experience
  • Excellent technical skills
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Knowledge of process related standards
  • Experience in GMP facilities
  • CAD or AutoCad skills (preferred bit not required)
  • Ability to follow health and safety regulations and training
  • Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
  • BS degree in Engineering

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $50.00 – $125.00 per hour


  • Flexible schedule


  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
